We have a pair of lovely, long vintage Cath Kidston football curtains for sale - ?80.00.

If they are too long you could use one curtain to make two curtains, and the other as a single bedcover - with very little sewing required (literally, cut off the Rufflette and sew a straight line!). Or make a floor cushion with the fabric as it's in excellent condition.

Width: 139cms

Length: 212 cms - lined and interlined

Faint watermark on lining bottom (see pic)

Dust marks on Rufflette dusty curtain rails (see pic) ? would not be seen when on rail

Some fading from sun on edge ? barely noticeable and not noticeable when curtains are hung

Heavy cotton (upholstery fabric, not CK?s lighter cotton)

?80 (Pick up from SE15 or ?8 postage)

PLEASE NOTE: I'm having problems uploading the images but found this link on google. You are welcome to PM me and I will send you pics asap.

    • Callout for help from any local experts here. Looking to find out more about the history of the property on the corner of Whateley Road and Ulverscroft road (with the green glazed bricks). Now a residential property, i'm told it was a bottle shop in days gone (the house was built around 1900) by and i'd like to learn more about the history of the business that was once here - name, photos, anything at all really! Seems to be very little from open source research so i'm hoping anyone with history in the area can provide any insight!  Starting here before i contact Southwark Archives or similar orgs to get any information and pictures (any advice here also would be welcome). Thank you
