If you choose the Infinity option it seems stable and reliable. And gives (for me) acceptable speeds. Fine to support TV delivery, a PC and laptop (sometimes 2) 4 tablets and up to 4 phones without any real losses or cycling. Not the cheapest (try Plusnet which is BT's budget offering) but does what it says on the tin. Always a good idea to power-down/ re-start things (such as your equipment and routers etc. on occasion) to clear caches and clean things up. But that's just good housekeeping. Haven't had to re-boot my modem/router in 6 months or so.
The wifi is terrible but in this case, I have just started to use the home phone after two years as I have set a business up at home. I have just found that they never installed the connection but been charging me ?15 a month for it. Apparently its my fault for not telling them and using it before now, not that the installer said he had installed it, didn't and I've been paying for a service I could never receive. hey ho. I think BT here I come.

    • Second time that Leon has come to the rescue . He was here within 2 hours -- ok he was working locally but he didn't have to fit me in .Shows what he's like ,he'll try and get to you asap .And he carries a number of commonly used parts and doesn't have to go off and get them . (You might think that this isn't deserving of comment ,but believe me it is ! ) Great guy ,100% recommend .
    • Hi all,   Does anyone have a two or three person tent they no longer want or need? As compact as possible would be ideal in order to carry in a bag/on a bike. Many thanks Joe
    • Today between approximately 3:30 and 4:00 PM, someone entered the back door of an estate agency and stole items from the kitchen, including a microwave and kettle. The individual then proceeded to trash the kitchen before leaving. This happened near Shawbury/Lordship Lane. If anyone saw a man carrying these items or acting suspiciously in the area around that time, please report it to the authorities and let me know. if anyone has access to cameras located near the area, your help would be appreciated.  Let’s help keep our community safe.
    • Well, that makes me feel better about my presently chaotic "office" (aka dumping ground for random stuff 😀) I do use it for an office as well though. That's what I'm supposed to be doing now, instead of mindlessly scrolling on my phone 😭
