Four 2.5l tins of beautiful white paint (see link for description of tone) -- chalky emulsion in Embla, by Craig and Rose. They're really good quality paints, well regarded by decorators for coverage etc. We've got this paint on the walls in our house, if you want to view on location! Cost almost ?33 a tin.   That's simply not true. In New York, famously they introduced a zero tolerance policy and substantially decreased the incidence of crime. I remember a time when the UK police used to make arrests of shoplifters, even attend reports of such crime. Now they don't. 30 years ago the police used to respond to reports of burglaries. Now they just issue a crime number for the insurance. Indeed virtually the only crimes it seems regularly responded to are thought crimes nowadays, which very much are the remit otherwise of totalitarian police states.
