Architect Recommendation

Hi All,

I just wanted to post a recommendation for a local architect who has just finishes an extension to our house. Adam from Harper Associates was very friendly and professional, and the planning went through smoothly. He was very responsive and managed to arrange meetings around our busy schedule. Very please and would definitely recommend to anyone looking.

We also recently use Harper Associates for our planning application, and would recommend to others. We were not too sure initially whether to go straight to a builder to draw up the plans, but glad we used an architect in the end as there were some complicated details to our extension.

We found them very approachable and flexible and it is nice to now have planning consent for our house. Just need to find a builder to start in the new year.

Following some recommendations from the EDF we also appointed Harper Associates for our refurbishment and rear extension and we have just received planning for a really beautiful design for our perfect home. I would highly recommend using these guys as they were very friendly, and came with some really fresh ideas. Emily.

    • I'm a bit of an architecture geek and I must confess I find it one of the most gimmicky ugly redesigns I've seen in a while. I'm always open to quirky but this is just not nice in any way shape or form.

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
