There are two of these, both contain different section of the Agas Map (1580s) of Tudor London.

Map 1 is a view of the river, roughly in the region of Temple Bar and Fleet Street (which you can see in the northern most section of the map) down to Bridewell Palace on the river. Some of the land south of the river can be seen too.

Map 2 contains two sections - on the right hand side is an evocative depiction of the area around Westminster Palace, which includes Charing Cross and sections of St James Park (a hunting park). ON the left side, you see the area around St Martin's Lane and St Giles in the Field, which is (I beliefe) pretty much the area of West End theatre land now.

The beautiful depictions of London at a very interesting time and would appeal to any lover of Tudor history or fiction.

They're bespoke frames, so the sizes aren't standard, but the frames are excellent quality.

43cm x 58.5cm

?20 each or ?30 for the pair.
