Nearly 2.5 and even then it was only because he was starting to outgrow the cot but had seriously outgrown the travel cot so I wanted to overcome any bed/escaping issues at home rather than when we were staying with parents. The older the better I think as they will almost inevitably get out of bed and run around the first few nights so they need to be of an age where they can understand the consequences of not staying in bed. We kept the cot in his room for a week and threatened to put him in there to sleep if he got out of bed to play around. It wasn't all stick though as we also used a reward chart for staying in bed, but again, LO needs to be old enough to understand.
Other half had kittens during the week as he walked into little Mook's room to find him body-surfing over the railing of cot. Needless to say, as of yesterday there is a new bed on order. Note to self - the week that little Mook goes into bed, other half is not allowed to work late, go out for a pint, go to gym, etc etc and we can both sit a top of stairs waiting to catch little Mook as he tries to hurtle past us to get to his toys.

    • Another recommendation for Oddbods. As proof of our satisfaction we've asked them to return for some more jobs, which is sign we were happy with their work
    • Most of the groceries shops in Lordship Lane have a security presence…curious thing is I and another woman recently saw a shop lifter lift and not pay for a couple of packet of steaks, veg and bottle of wine..  Literally walked Pat the tills, one member of staff and security guard despite someone else going in front by a few people and mentioning person in question! I have to say, speechless and admired their bravado - I would not have the guts and knowing my luck, if I accidentally didn’t put something tru the till despite receipt would prob get stopped! Yes, worked with families, homeless and other people who were struggling for food so I do understand why they do it.. sad when you think about it, that in this day and age, all sorts of c people need assistance and help from community in general, food banks, olio etc….
    • Just not keen to have all these  things  in my body… having said  that, thinking about Covid again as need to come to London to two hospitals for poss overnight stays.
    • And another one, number 6, has just gone passed as well!  I presume that the LTNs are blocking them from a more useful route. Or the surrounding road works.
