Bike Train via Quietway 1 Weds October 11th

Quietway 1 is a great route to central London but it can be tricky to find from Peckham and Nunhead.

Come with us on Wednesday and we will show you the way -- 7.45am from outside Nunhead Station and 7.55am from Peckham Rye Station (meeting at the bike stands behind McDonalds). Arriving at Southwark Bridge or Blackfriars Bridge at 8.30am.

Further progress depends on where you want to go. Please text ahead to say you are coming and where you want to go to. I'm on 07842 640 207. The branch line from Denmark Hill will not run unless booked ahead.

  Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools. This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference.   One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.

  No doubt if he determines to stand for a ward he will enlighten us - at least his track record is one of using this site to communicate (inter alia). I would suspect that (1) his personal views on traffic will have remained consistent but that (2) his views on local democracy and proper consultation will have as well.

  Yes, but I want to know where he stands on all this stuff now. My feeling is it won't be any different from Labour?
