This Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 1:30pm-4:30pm at Trevor Bailey Sports Hall, Dulwich

Sifu Della O'Sullivan, the founder and leader of Dulwich Wing Tsun Academy, is leading the first of a series of Women Self Defense Workshops around London.

It is not to be missed. You will come out empowered, knowledgeable and having learnt a few techniques to help you getting out of difficult situations.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to BEDE House Charity.

  There is a dance fit class at Harris girls on a Monday evening 630 pm which I have been going to for years . It is an inclusive class with a wide range of ages. The teacher is Fi and she is amazing and the classes are lots of fun. look on the web justdanceuk .com. There are other dance classes (flowetic )that Fi and the lovely Lizzie runs at Harris girls too . They also have an event next week which is a bit further- near Penge which is a day of dance to include just dance fit, dancehall, line dancing, garage fit and flowetic . Which is also available to book on that website ( look at the events section) .

  I didn't realise that either! I thought it just meant division within communities - religious, racial or otherwise. Yes, it is frightening. The days of the broad church political party are over.

  So I've done a little more research into the current use of the word, I hadn't realised it had latterly been used to describe anti Muslim feelings. Still don't like the use of the word. These are horrible times and am fearful for the future.
