snowboarder
Huh had forgotten how annoying late early morning feeds are. Baby fed at 4.30am and now happily snoozing next to me. I'm awake and no hope of sleep now as light and head spinning with organising the day ahead. Toddler will be awake soon anyway. Moan, moan....Sack that. Toddler just shouted 'out, out'. Think again, kiddo, you're staying right where you are until at least 6am....Anyone else 'up'? Ruth_Baldock
Not up for a night feed- still got a few weeks to go until that all kicks in again- but if Seb wakes in the night or I wake up for any other reason (last night was because my husband "needed a pee, where's my dressing gow ?" grrrrr!) then I too lie awake and it's utter crap :( Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/17047-cant-sleep-wont-sleep/#findComment-432234 Share on other sites
sillywoman
I found a bedside radio really helpful. I'd have it on really low so no disturbance for anyone else, also it meant that I had to concentrate hard to focus on what was being discussed. This meant my brain didn't start whirring about all the other stuff that usually comes to the fore in the wee small hours. And invariably I fell back to sleep .I still use it now - it has one of those useful buttons which means I can set it for 30 minutes or an hour or so then it turns itself off. It has been one of my baby best buys I think.Chantelle - getting ready for work at 5.30am ::o - as my teens would say 'respect'!
