Hire a table to sell your wares at Christmas Fair, Saturday 2nd December, St. John's Church SE22 9AT

Recommended Posts

The Christmas Fair has been held at St John?s East Dulwich for more years than anyone can remember. This year, we would like to expand our offering to include some local makers and traders. We have a number of tables available to hire, and hope local craftspeople will be able to join us.

We regularly experience a footfall of 200 ? 300 at our Christmas Fairs, and this will be given an extra push this year by displaying posters in local shops and caf?s and distributing flyers. We will be making use of social media and local forums to publicise the fair, and will be included in the listings of local publications.

Admission to the fair will be free.

The fair has lots of festive attractions to draw people in, including:

? Santa?s grotto, face painting and children?s activities

? Mulled wine, mince pies and other refreshments

? Christmas music by brass band and flute, and carol sing-a-longs

? Raffle and other traditional Christmas fair attractions

Tables hire cost is ?30.

    • @NewWave I know how you feel. Like you, I've lived and spent prolonged periods of time in some pretty crazy places and always thought I could handle a bunch of kids. But, no - they got to me and I was shaking like a leaf afterwards. That's what age does to us.  But I did engage with them, so bear that in mind.  My advice would be to never let anything like that stop you doing the things you love. I'm certainly not going to stop using the park, there's no way they get to take away our cherished spaces!  If you see them, just change tack and keep out of their way. My dog won't even go that way again, so that's that problem solved. (If I see them again, I'm going to keep taking photos from a safe distance).
    • Truly horrific. Being passive or fighting back is what many of us think about by violent theft.
    • What ridiculous waste of money
    • Lots of good primary schools within reach of there. Fairlawn, Goodrich, Ivydale and Horiman. Secondary schools you will definitely get into the Harris Academies or Sydenham Girls or Forest Hill Boys, you might just be on the boundary for the East Dulwich or North Dulwich Charter but it changes every year.
