Hiya, my brother lives in Germany and one of his sons is struggling with English. He is wondering if there are opportunity to take part in sport activities for his 14 year old if they came to visit. His son, Ruben is fab at sports, swimming, running, cycling and football. Ideally, the sport would be a good environment to help him with his English. I don't have any contact with any sport clubs (my LO is too small....) - Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks Zoe, that looks very interesting - will definitely give them a call.

Am still making the rounds researching local sports clubs who would be willing to let the kid train for a few sessions, but not too much luck so far. I would love to give him the opportunity to mix with other kids, rather than adults (=me) taking him, so any other suggestions would be great

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
