Can you fit a cat ladder/rungs for cat access to 1st floor cat-flap?

Hi unusual request! - We are putting a cat-flap in a first floor window and need something to enable the cat to climb up to enter - probably by putting a few rungs on the wall, though there might be other ways of doing it. Does anybody have experience of doing something similar? Or can suggest what to do / recommend a handy problem-solver type to do the work??
