Hello,

I am a 33 year old British Masters (Family Therapy) student studying at Kings College London and on placement in Southwark. I use to live in and around ED and Peckham Rye, I now live in Poole, with my partner Nick.

Ironically I have been given a placement in Peckham Rye and will be working on placement 2 days in and around Southwark. I commute from Poole but am looking to stay overnight on Thursdays to reduce the commuting, I am therefore wondering whether there might be any parent/s that might like someone to provide babysitting for them for free Thursday evenings in return for my staying overnight. I would only be in London during the university term times.

I have a considerable career history of working with children from toddlers through to young adults, including those with a range of disabilities. I also baby sit for the babies, there's a lot, in my partners family. I have an update CRB/DBS check that I can provide.

Please do get in touch if you think we can help each other and would like to chat. Please email me first via [email protected]

Many thanks

Claire

    • Happy to name agent and do understand that there are procedures to complain. I believe that it starts with a complaint to the estate agent and then you can go to the ombudsman. I am very unhopeful that this will achieve anything as it will be hard to prove what the intention of the agent was.  Also I don't want to name the agent at this stage so as not to open up myself to any legal issues. However it is an agent in the Village whish has many branches across London
    • Naming the agent isn't going to help in this case, this is down to the morals (lack of) of the buyer. I think it's always best, esp in a buyer's market, to keep details such as 'you're keen/ need to sell' to one's self, otherwise you're just giving the buyer leverage to pull a stunt like this...
    • I have tickets for tomorrow.  I'm off to do a rain dance.
