Women?s Health Clinic (Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynaecology) is looking to recruit a PA to assist a single consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist on a three month contract initially, that can be extended. Previous experience as a medical PA and/or a nurse is desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading consultant with excellent career prospect.


Duties

? Answer telephone calls, take and pass on relevant messages and present an excellent image of the company in doing so.

? Manage patient enquiries via e-mail, telephone and in person

? Arrange appointments for patients, liaising with the consultant, and internal and external departments

? Manage correspondence

? Handle invoices and payments

? Maintain and file accurate patient records

? Take responsibility for all aspects of organisation relating to relevant clinics

? Take responsibility for all clinical correspondence

? Liaise with consultant to ensure smooth running of the clinics



Required skills

? Previous medical secretarial experience is desirable but not essential

? Computer literate, excellent IT skills

? Medical terminology certificate

? Excellent communications skills

? A warm and welcoming manner

? Well organised and systematic and professional

? Meticulous attention to detail

? Be happy to undergo a DBS check or have a DBS certificate dated within a year

    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
    • We're having a bumper crop of eating apples this year - so many infact that we're wondering what to do with the surplus. Neighbours have had some and we've left some outside the house but I was thinking we could pass some on to a foodbank - or even to Kings if they're allowed to take in fruit?   Suggestions appreciated. 
    • I agree with this. There are lot's of shops selling similar foods. And the two shops aren't positioned that close together - further from each other than say Franco Manca and Yard Sale, or Bruno's and Dynamic Wines, etc.
