ladyruskin
We're investing in our first pushchair/travel system and have decided on the Bee+ The place we want to buy it from doesn't have the cocoon available in our chosen colour and they are suggesting we won't really need it anyway and can just go straight for the footmuff. Our baby is due in July so we probably won't it to be super cosy anyway. Do you think we could survive without the cocoon? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/17177-do-we-reaaly-need-the-bee-cocoon/ Share on other sites
Ruth_Baldock
Yeah, I reckon so. It's for added protection, I think. I think a sheepskin liner would do the trick nicely. Have you seen if anyone on the forum is flogging theirs? We were conned into buying a baby cocoon for our phil and teds. Now I am wondering how necessary it was (read: not at all, probably). jennyh
i have the bee+ and the cocoon, i cant see how the baby would lie without it as it creates the flat platform?? i must say that it is roasty though, are there other products that would do the job but non fleecy versions?Jennyx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/17177-do-we-reaaly-need-the-bee-cocoon/#findComment-434358 Share on other sites
reren
I know its pricey but i have to say ive found the cocoon really useful - my 6 month old is still in it - the top comes off for warmer months - but it was brilliant in the cold my baby was in it all winter - a sheepskin might be just as good in this weather? The cocoon is great for putting young baby down to sleep though... And you can shove various bits down at the bottom where the feet go - i think when your baby is a bit older and its cold again you would get good use out of it but i reckon after about 7 months its probably too small so depends when you are due...
