Hi,

We?re selling our Mountain Buggy Duet for ?180. It is the most compact twin pushchair on the market and has been brilliant. I?ve never had a problem getting through any doors and it is easy to manoeuvre on and off buses. It has served our twins well from birth to 3.5 years, but they now prefer to walk. The current model retails for ?600.

These are the specs:

? Adjustable and independent seat positions - from full recline (newborn) to upright (4 years)

? Duet carrycot compatible (available separately, though not really necessary)

? Car seat compatible with duet travel system kit (Available separately)

? Individual peek-a-boo flaps on the sun canopies - keep an eye on your child

? Padded 5 point harnesses with quick release harness clip and safety button

? Direction of Travel: Forward

? Lightweight aluminium frame

? Foot operated brake

? Compact fold with quick release wheels

? Four 10" rubber tyres with inflatable inner tubes

? Height Adjustable Handles

? Zip seat fabric on and off the buggy frame

? 5kg / 11lb gear tray capacity

A bottle holder (?10 new) and rain cover are included (?39 new).

The buggy is in a clean, working condition, but does show signs of use. I'm happy to send detailed photographs if you are interested and can deliver in the East Dulwich and surrounding area. Please PM me.

    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
    • This is a bit outside our area, but I'm posting in case .... Last night (Sat.20 Dec), around 10.30, we saw a cat hit by a car in St Norbert Road, SE4.  We took him to the out of hours vet in Beckenham, where they confirmed that he had died.  They will see if he is microchipped, and contact the owner if so.  They were very kind.   He was a lovely cat, grey and white.  He must have died very quickly.  So sorry to be the bearer of bad news 😞 The vet is Medivet in Beckenham, tel: 0208 650 2003.
