Nanny available

Hi

I'm Maggie. I've been working with children and families for 30+ years as a nanny, chlidminder, teacher and parent. I've recently returned from Hong Kong where I was teaching 1-6 year olds for ten years.

I am currently covering nannies on holiday or sick leave, etc.

I'm looking for a sole charge position four or five days a week to start in December/January. I love being around young people, building their independence, setting routines, being creative, weaning, potty training, transitioning from home to nursery, cooking from scratch, reading, role play, fun days out, playgroups, play dates, supporting homework, etc.

I take a firm but fair approach working with parents to establish boundaries to ensure children feel secure and will thrive.

Communication is key to any harmonious relationship and none more so that to a nanny and their family.

If I sound like the sort of person you would love to care for your children, please get in touch.

Maggie

Just a note to add my recommendation for Maggie. She recently worked for me while my nanny was sick and I can highly recommend her. She took care of my 3 DDs and the has a great time, and were happy to be left with her instantly... some people are just able to do this with kids!

She happily took them swimming, to the park etc, and kept me updated throughout the day.

You be lucky to have Maggie as your nanny 😊

    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
