The internet, and certainly Forums are just like a great big pub and I remember when there used to be locals way before internet there were always several nutters and even relatively normal looking regulars believed a whole load of wild speculative shite that they continually peddalled as FACT

I remember a on the face of it normal mate at University telling me that we were all about to get conscripted for the Falklands as it was Thatcher's plan to reduce youth unemployment and bring back discipline and he knew cos he had an Uncle who was 'something' in the Foreighn Office.

This sort of nonsesne is just peddalled around so quickly now and people just take it as gospel too often

    • I've read this thread and made notes! So many useful tips! Would anyone have a recommendation for  a place that sells good quality topsoil that would also be able to drop from a tipper? 10 cubic meters minimum. Thanks in advance and any further advice on garden centres with good selection of shrubs/climbers would be welcome, I plan to visit them all. Garden is fully dug up with drainage just put in.
    • I reccomend Crab Salad-I used to have my hair cut by the owner when he was at Blue tit in Peckham...I moved with him to Cs when he opened it. I've had other stylists there when he was'nt available on the date I could make and they're all excellent. Its a nice vibe too-just very relaxed not too 'hairdressery' (If you know what I mean) and I've reccomended it to neighbours and colleages who've all been very happy. Its not the cheapest but nor is it super pricey and they use good products too.
    • I went last week and would recommend. I was very happy to see pricing based on hair length and especially a fringe trim price. I live nearby and don’t need it fully styled / blown out after a cut (curly so usually prefer to do it myself) so I like that it is variable pricing in that way.
    • Memes top of lordship haircut shampoo blow dry about £25  dulwich barbers hair cut about£22  jazzes haircut about £26
