Hi Members,

Im so shocked with prices of routine dental care for rabbits ie teeth filing between ?100-140 including sedation. Is there any veterinary organization or pet charity that does it cheaper or even for free. As this has to be done every 4 weeks which is very costly. Rabbit was brought to help a young child that has anxieties.

Many Thanks

Are you giving your bunny plenty to chew on to help wear down the evergrowing teeth? See https://www.petplan.co.uk/pet-information/rabbit/advice/4-step-guide-to-rabbit-teeth-care/ for advice.

Depending on your circumstances the PDSA hospitals might be an option.

    • According to this site, Giff Gaff is your best bet.  You only need to make a quick 25p call every 180 days to keep the sim active.  Diarise right and that's about 50p a year.   https://kenstechtips.com/index.php/best-payg-sim-for-low-usage
    • I think that's about it.  I know 1pmobile.com do £10 for 60days, or £48/yr, both of which include substantial usage if you need it. PS just checked.  £5 in it too for each of us if you want a referral.
    • Oh. I've been looking into this (online) and it seems I would still have to pay something (at least a fiver)  every month even if I wasn't using the phone, because they all seem to be 30 day rolling contracts. Have I misunderstood? I need something for emergency use only.
