Call for Testimonies ? Street Harassment of EU Nationals

Recommended Posts

Have you experienced street harassment because of where you?re from?

In a context of rising hate incidents, the Migrants? Rights Network is interested to hear from EU nationals who have experienced street harassment since the EU referendum in June last year, especially if the incident was not reported to police or elsewhere.

We would like to conduct short interviews with people to understand the harassment they experienced and some of the barriers to reporting hate incidents and hate crime.

This work is part of the iStreetWatch project, which is run by the Migrants? Rights Network and collects information on racist and xenophobic street harassment.

If you are able to take part, or to find out more, please contact [email protected].

    • It was indeed in the vicinity of DKH. I live on the ED estate and I could tell it must be close by because of the noise. When I left my house this morning I found the culprits litter still in the middle of the st. It looked like they had lit a whole box on fire in the middle of the road. My cat jumped out of her skin. I’ll try and report it on Southwark website same as I have had to with other illegal use this week. Any other ideas for what we can do with the photos? Maybe one of the Southwark councillors. It’s outrageous and dangerous behaviour.
    • Had another great meal there…. those that haven’t tried it, give it a go.. have a special lunch menu as well so you can get a flavour of the food.
    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
    • I’ve been seeing Lisa at goose green clinic for energy work for a year now.  Lisa is kind, caring and hugely supportive. She is wonderfully masterful and trained as a reiki master for 20 plus years. Alongside other energy work.  My time spent with her is like therapy. An emotional safe space for deep conversations and reflection followed by relaxing and energising healing work.  each experience I’ve had has been different, the end result remains the same. Feel lighter, almost euphoric and almost float home. Definitely an experience not to be missed.  https://www.goosegreenclinic.net/therapies/healing-energy-work/
