For sale is my beautiful and rare Catherine Rayner 'Louisa' silk ivory dress in size 14 (runs small so would suit a 12-14 or potentially even an average 10).

***Also advertised on Gumtree with more photos: https://www.gumtree.com/p/wedding-dresses/vintage-designer-wedding-dress-catherine-rayner-100-silk-ivory-size-14/1277026295 ***

100% silk dress with boned bodice with sweetheart neckline, low cut V-back with elegant satin covered buttons that cover the concealed zip and a flattering bustle effect at the back and front from the waist down. The sleeves taper down to the wrists and have a row of satin covered buttons at the wrist. Sleeves can be worn either off the shoulder or on the shoulders as the tops are elasticated (see photos).

This is a unique and absolutely stunning dress on any figure. I'm very curvy and have quite large hips (/muffintops) and this dress is incredibly flattering and made me look like something out of a silent movie without being uncomfortable because of the more open shaped skirt from the waist down. On someone with a more straight silhouette, this dress adds curves in the right places.

Perfect condition apart from a few marks along the hemline which should come out when dry cleaned. I haven't got it cleaned as assumed buyer would do this once purchased to freshen up flowers etc anyway.

Would highly recommend you have a google and look at pictures of the dress online (modelled) and read about the designer herself - Catherine Rayner is an award winning designer; one of her dresses is exhibited in the V&A Museum's fashion collection and was featured on the poster for their major Wedding Dress exhibition in 2014.

Bought this dress for my own wedding but due to some last minute changes in wedding venue, this dress was just too formal and I ended up wearing a more flowy free people number because I'd have looked a bit out of place in this beautiful elegant dress standing in a garden at my family's home! Would love to keep it as a collector's item, but am refurbishing my home so need to sell it to fund that.. I love this dress and would love it to go to a good home.

Any questions, please ask. If you'd like to see it or try it on, I'm now based in Islington N5 but around most evenings and can make myself available at weekends. Thanks for looking!

No meds at all even if you need them - hasten to add, don’t do it at all if you are medically dependent. In fact, why doesn’t ED - do this for half a day - say in Oct, when everyone has come back from enjoying their, hols, new term starting and as a community, we could all be 1.? Before, November, fireworks, etc.
