I found a dropped school bag on Goodrich Road (Lordship Lane end) with book etc. Has a name on it - initials are 'O.L.'

The child may not even realise he's lost it as its the weekend now. If the parents read this, you can send me a 'private message' via the forum and pick it up from me. Otherwise I will drop it into the school on Monday.

Well then the little boy will have to wait one whole week to read "The Monsters' Guide To Choosing A Pet". :))

Seriously, I thought it was easier to pick it up and return it, than leave it lying on the pavement where a friendly street cleaner may just add it to his rubbish.

I read somewhere that Edinburgh is doing this next year? Charges of this kind are becoming common around the world. I think it absolutely makes sense for Southwark and other boroughs are bound to follow.
