Vickster
HelloWe are flying with our new little one in a couple of weeks, and will need to take the car seat (0 - 12 months) for the car at the other end as they do not offer hire car seats small enough. It will have to go in the hold, and I am a bit nervous about the battering it may take. Has anyone done this and have any top tips fpr protecting it? The best I have come up with is bubble wrap and a bin liner!ThanksVictoria Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/17510-advice-on-putting-car-seat-in-aircraft-hold/ Share on other sites
Browncoffee
We've travelled a few times with our LO and have had to check in her pram. The airport bubble wrap (think it costs ?6) has worked brilliantly each time.Hope you have a lovely flight.BC Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/17510-advice-on-putting-car-seat-in-aircraft-hold/#findComment-439866 Share on other sites
craigy
We flew to the US in feb with car seat in hold for 6 month old and it came out perfectly at other end, no padding idea just made sure it was all clipped down and straps secure...
