Venues for a 'wake' near Hither Green

Any ideas for a pub/restaurant near to Hither Green Crem? Not familiar with the area and don't want to do the usual thing and all pile back home, for various reasons. Thanks

Daughter's mother in law was cremated at Hither Green and wake/reception was held at The Bell ( I think it was called) lower Sydenham near the Bell Green Sainsbury's store

Went to a wake at the Lord Northbrook, by Lee. Its a roughly 20 minute walk from the Crem and IIRC they did a good job of hosting and providing food during a difficult time.

Went back to The Herne Tavern for a wake during this past year for an old friend of mine It had a great space and the food and drink were fantastic.

The Station is supposed to be a good pub. I used to live there when it was terrible but apparently its very good now. and big enough to reserve an area I would have thought.
