A strange recurring beep - Ashbourne Grove/Matham Grove

Hi,

Does anyone who lives on Ashbourne Grove or Matham Grove (Lordship lane end) noticed a strange recurring beep at the back of the houses? It sounds like a battery in a smoke alarm running out. If anyone knows please advise at it's really really annoying and has been going on for a week!

Could be the battery warning for a siren unit from a burglar alarm....

We're on Worlingham and have noticed the exact same thing, it's really irritating, we only hear it when we go out into our garden!

Exactly. What is it and more important how can it be stopped!? I'm thinking it's the Co-op.

Worryingly it's the transmitter on the roof of the Co-op. I have logged a call but it sounds like a fault which is a concern.

Why worryingly? Does the Coop trandmit important stuff to the KGB?
