Fridge wanted for elderly neighbour

I've just discovered that my elderly neighbour has not had a proper working fridge for the past month. He has a Hoover fridge and the thermostat isn't working. He's too proud to ask for help, but will always take help if we come with it.

So, is there anyone local who would like to give him the gift of a working fridge for Christmas?

If you're able to fix it, or donate a new under the counter fridge to him. I would be happy to collect a fridge for him.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks everyone for your kind offers. i have now managed to source a fridge for him, but now need to sort out getting it to him, so if anyone wants' to offer a van and man (or two strong people) then that would be amazing. Unfortunately I can't lift it as i'm pregnant and my neighbour won't be able to lift it as he's 84(ish)!

Thank you

    • The purge of hard left members that were part of Corbyn's, Mcdonnel's and Lansmans momentum that purged the party of right wing and centrist members. That's politics. It's what Blair did to win, its what Starmer had to do to win. This country doesn't vote in extreme left or right governments. That's partly why Corbyn lost  We're pretty much a centrist bunch.  It doesn't make it false either. It's an opinion based on the voting patterns, demography and statistics. Can you explain then why former mining constituencies that despise the tories voted for them or abstained rather than vote for Corbyns Labour?  What is the truth then?
