Does anyone know if Surya Yoga Studios are still going in Balham? It is run by a lady called Jen and they mainly do Ashtanga Yoga. I tried to access the website today to look up the class timetable as I have not been since November. But the site is down. The phone does not seem to be connected either. I am hoping there are some forumites who go to her classes and am keeping fingers crossed that the classes are still running.

best not to mess with the yogis franki or they may force a touch of the Jālaṅdhara Bandhas on you (Of course i stole it from wiki-yogi - do i look like i'm that supple?). I called one a Plain Jain once and ended up with a Pain in my Asana.

I wouldn't dream of interfering with anyones Bhakti but this is the lounge and it's all fair game.

    • I can do the research but are more people watching cricket on TV now it went to the higher bidder or in 05 when it was on Channel 4?  I think that less kids are into cricket since it went off terrestrial.  I suppose I should have had TMS on.
    • Great finish to today, true Test cricket. India had the chance to kill it off a couple of times, but Carse and Tongue looked far better than I was expecting in a Test situation over the last few days. Still hoping for Jofra and Woody to be back for a couple games each.  PGC, do you reckon this 'Anderson -Tendulkar' series could make Tests a bit more interesting to the wider word? There's still Birmingham, north London, Manchester and south London to go. It's never going to be 'The Ashes', but as a five game series, I genuinely think this might get people a bit more involved.
    • LOL.   Lazy ass people who choose to litter!!!!   Really greenery does not cause anti social behaviour.   But I gotta say thanks for the giggle. You are so on point.   How can we work as a collective to make "The establishment move forward".   Net 0 is coming in fast.   And the only way forward is for everyone to work together
    • That's a gross exaggeration. All of it. But maybe you just intended to provoke that response?
