My nearly 5 week old seems to sleep well from around 7pm until 4/5am waking for just 2 feeds. After this time he seems to not want to settle and I am up to him pretty constantly. If I bring him in bed with us once this happens, he will settle easily and sleep through until our toddler wakes! Bliss..... Other than I am really uncomfortable cosleeping, feel really paranoid.

I know the principles ie no alcohol etc I also lay in such a way I can't roll on him and neither can his dad, however I'm still not comfortable with it and would much prefer him in his crib!!

I seem to remember there is some kind of product you can buy that protects baby in a separate box like contraption whilst cosleeping- are they any good and what are they called?

Any other tips gratefully received! I know lots of people choose to cosleep, how do you make it work confident baby is safe?

Thankyou

    • It should be easy enough to point out to anyone even thinking of voting reform that should they take power they will have no impact. And will make things worse.  And if people think politicians break promises now and reform are a breath of fresh air then they ain’t seen nothing yet  but they won’t really care about immigration if reform do win  uk used to be about law and order and now we have dim talking heads everywhere unchallenged going “leave the ECHR, stuff the judges, just do it!!”   like life is that simple sweeties
    • I have been reliably informed that it's not the same group.
    • my bet is it's the same group and no amount of talking to is going to make a difference.
    • Definitely not intended  to come across as "gleeful". Quite the opposite, because developments such as this will only encourage extreme right-wingers such as Reform. And heaven help us if they ever formed a government. It's incumbent on Labour to come up with an effective  policy to "smash the gangs" otherwise we are facing Farage and his gang further down the road.
