Nunhead Arts and Crafts Xmas Market at The Old Nun's Head Pub, Sunday December 17th

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

We will be holding our last event of the year at our lovely home, The Old Nun's Head Pub in Nunhead Green. As always we will be upstairs and the market starts at 12 pm and finishes at 6 pm.

There will be a variety of wonderful gifts on sale from jewellery to art to natural skincare so there really will be something for everyone. Also, we thoroughly recommend having a roast whilst you're there. Make sure you come hungry!

We can be found on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Check out our pages or even better pop along and say hi!

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
