I'm not sure if this will have any impact on this government. A more useful petition might be one to push for a delay in the roll out until safeguards are in place to prevent what everyone is warning about. Government seems to think it has made enough changes to avoid a national crisis of claimants being sent to food banks. The real worry is rent arrears and evictions from the rollout. There are some moves behind the scenes to allay the fears of private sector landlords who are genuinely worried about the rollout and rent arrears from their tenants currently in receipt of Housing Benefit. Signed those petitions anyway.
