A couple of years ago, when the pillarbox was being emptied, I queried the inappropriate day showing on the metal plate. The postman told me that only a couple of the 'days of the week' plates fitted the slot, so they were the only ones he could use. -

I've just popped out (Wednesday) to post a card .Collection times listed as 9am.But the little metal plate indicates Friday as the next day for collection . Are these metal plates accurate ? Or are they not changed ,maybe a faff to do so are left ? -
I agree, I always voted for him despite not normally voting Lib Dem. He was an excellent local councillor and very involved in local activities.
