Recommending my brilliant IT support person

Hello! I am based in East Dulwich and work with a wonderful IT person. Dr Mark Vowles has rescued me countless times from IT disasters. He hosts my email, provides my backups, sets up new laptops for me, tidies up when Apple updates ruin my life and sorts out anything at all that I can't do. This week, he brought my sister's new MacBook Air back from the dead when Apple had quoted her over ?1000 for a basic repair.

He also does small businesses as well as individuals, and I can recommend him for this too.

Oh, and he can do website design and maintenance as well!

I also absolutely trust his information security procedures. Only my fianc? knows as much about me as he does, and I feel totally safe with him.

You can reach him on [email protected] or 07790 554563‬

He's rescued me so many times that I want to spread the word, but now I am worried that he'll get too busy for me if everyone on the EDF contacts him!

Lucy

    • I think you are making a whole bunch of assumptions there which just don’t stack up   - the assumption that inflation will simply keep rising for example   as well as a bunch of incomplete statements - I don’t know what point that last paragraph is making?
    • Wondering if anyone can lend a hole saw for a few hours  later next week (probs Fri 5th, I'm waiting on a ypiece delivery) . I just need to cut one round hole in a kitchen worktop (4inch diameter). I'm near Bellenden Rd so can drop back off pretty quickly
    • The next six years will be a real problem. When costs go up with inflation and then salaries go up with inflation (likely not as much), more of that increased income will be taxed, which means like for like, people will have earn more but pay more tax so have less money and things will cost more. Rents will also go up as tax on rental income will not come out of the landlord’s pocket.  It’s not just the people who own houses love £2m that will suffer ( and £7k is less likely to be an impact than higher tax and rent for someone on minimum wage wage
    • They might not be related. Could your itchy forehead just be from the cold and central heating?
