Recommended Posts

I am moving abroad shortly and everything below has to go asap.

More items will follow.

Megamix blender ?80

In perfect condition, without a scratch on it. Hardly used. The glass jug is amazing. Great for soups and crashed ice. It's super powerful and sturdy. Comes with a book and a box.

Ultra light bike single speed bike ?50.

In a good working, but the handlebar tape needs replacing.

Ikea floating shelf ?5. Black brown with two aluminium brackets, 120cm long.

Orange-gold curtain ?10.

It's a rich, deep, rust like orange with gold pattern.

A single piece made of 3 panels sewn together. Total width 300cm and length 196cm (you can add 10cm by undoing double fold hem).

There are 2 holes in one of the side panels (hence only ?10 for the entire curtain). It can be easily fixed, or you can try trimming that panel (it's 102cm wide).

Vintage two seater Chesterfield sofa ?20

Bottle green leather with reupholstered cushions.

Ikea Hemnes chest of 3 drawers, grey ?20

Brother printer/copier/scanner ?20

It?s the DPC-J725DW model. It doesn?t have any ink at the moment.

Revlon hair straighteners ?10

Brand new Bionaire air purifier ?20

It comes with HEPA filter. I used it only a couple of times. The filter should last another 6months.

    • My mum (91 years young!) well remembers going to Austin's as a child, which she described as an 'Aladdin's Cave'!  She absolutely loved it - and is still a shopping fiend to this day (I 'blame' Austin's 😉). Going back up Peckham Rye, passing Austin's on your right hand-side, just past Phillips Walk (so not far from Austin's at all), I believe there was a British Relay Wireless shop - this would have been in the late 1930s/early 1940s.  Does anyone know anything about this? My grandad (my mum's dad) used to manage it; it was severely damaged in The Blitz - but I am having trouble locating it.  Mum's memory is dim (she was 6 at the time); she originally thought it was in Rye Lane, but we think now it was in Peckham Rye just up from Phillips Walk (originally Phillips Road).
    • Thanks everyone, this will need to be reported again as the fox was still mobile and walking down the road when last seen... hopefully someone will spot and report.
