markdanielallen
Trying to get rid of 3x kitchen worktop offcuts. For free to anyone who can take them. They may be the right size for a very small bathroom / kitchen project, or for more inventive uses like table tops, etc.The material is great - we have it throughout our kitchen and are v. pleased. The pieces are approx.100cm x 65cm, 75cm x 50cm & 100cm x 50cm25mm thicknessPhotos are pretty pointless as it is just a white worktop. Eggybread
Hello, we have a large renovation underway and I'm very interested in Minerva, probably Carrera, for our worktops. I'm afraid these offcuts are too small for anything we might be able to use it for, but could I possibly ask please where you bought it from, and his it compares costwise to granite or marble?Thank youCatherine Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/179141-now-gone-kitchen-bathroom-worktop-offcuts-white-minerva-gone/#findComment-1210966 Share on other sites
markdanielallen
Hi Catherine. We bought it because it?s a fraction of the price of granite / quartz / corian. It?s been really good so far. Gripes are that you have to clean things like red wine off it as quick as possible (although it claims to be totally non-porous), and also that it?s not strictly heatproof - although it can take hot pans (just not really hot, you can put heat rods on it for this purpose). We bought it from Hafele. Delivery was expensive and frustrating but the savings on the product made it worth it.Feel free to call if you have any more questions, we recently did our whole kitchen and would be happy to share experiences.
