Help. I am hosting a Come Dine With Me ( work people) and need ideas for entertainment

A magician is great for something like this.

Keeps the guests enthralled while you're slaving away in the kitchen -

an added bonus is that by keeping them occupied they won't be

wandering around your home :)

Seeing the tricks LIVE and close up is very impressive.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone local but someone out there may do.

Have a super evening!

Hmmm, my boss isn't invited as that would be dangerous.

I would prefer a non-combat option as there are ladies coming and I coyldn't hit them, even if I wanted to and sometimes, trust me I do.

I was thinking of getting someone musical in ( not Mary Poppins) or some actor types who can engage us in some interactive role play.

Good point Maxxilicious. I will save le entertainment until after the cheeseboard has been cleared.

I tried getting the dog to disco dance with me (like the crazies do on Britain's Got Talent). After three hours of Super Trouper I have concluded that she is not a dancer - four left feet. Grrrrrr!

    • They seem to be having an identity crisis. SD Cafe? Aroma Lab Coffee? Either way, I look forward to the day they have a storefront. I live just around the corner & walk past every day, & I'm still not entirely sure what it's meant to be. For that reason, I'm not surprised if it often gets overlooked by passersby. Prior to all of this, it was Oriental Star - a wonderful Chinese takeout run by lovely people, & we were genuinely sad to see it go. It took a long time to find anything in this area that came close, & honestly, I still don't think we quite have.
