Nanny Available

Recommended Posts

My name is Ruby, 22, and I?ve just finished working in East Dulwich looking after a boy, 3, four days a week. My sister has been employed with this family since the baby was 9 months but I had taken over from August to December while she was on maternity leave. I am looking for a job to start in the near future.

Before working for this family, I worked for two families, one had a little boy who was 10 months old, the other was 5 years old. I would have the baby during the day and then pick up the older boy from school. I would attend many playgroups with the baby and also spend time in the park with my sisters, who are both nanny?s in the area.

Last year I finished a degree in English Literature so I had a few nannying jobs in between studying. A little boy who was 4 and a little girl who was 3, I also looked after 2 babies on different days on an ad hoc basis.

Last summer I worked for a family with three girls, 8,6, and 3, taking them to activities, days out, and also helping with school work.

The summers of 2014 and 2015, I worked in America for three months each time looking after twins who were 3 months the first year and 15 months the second. It was in summer camp so I was there from 7-7 with the babies, I helped with weening, sleep training, and general care.

I can provide references and also answer any questions you may have. And also give you more information about my experience.

Hope to hear from you,

Ruby

    • You can get a card at the till, though, to get the discount. You don't have to carry it with you (or load it onto your phone), you can just get a different card each time. Not sure what happens if they notice 🤣
    • Yes..that may be the case but membership STARTING at £115 a month is still unafforable for many. Council gyms also have a large range of equipment and I had a  PT at Dulwich leisure centre when I was in Full Time employment who was incredible and even kept in contact during lockdown giving me a program I could do at home and checking in weekly at no charge or personal gain for herself. I dont doubt that Fit For may be a good gym (Its been in situ long enough so must be doing something right) However the cost of membership means it is affordable for the few not the many. If I could afford that kind of fee I would rather get a train to Canary Wharf and go to Virgin active where theres a pool and incredible classes and facilities
    • This sounds great 👍
    • We found a red TREK bike yesterday that had clearly been stolen and dumped. Would love to reunite it with its owner. Get in touch if you know whose it is.
