Hello!

I have received a few recommendations here for which I am grateful but wanted to create a post specifically to advertise my services.

I am a local builder specialising in tiling but also very comfortable with other trades such as carpentry, decorating, plastering, kitchen/bathroom installation etc...

I have been working in London for over 15 years and I always try to work to a high standard, so far I have many satisfied customers!

Most of my work has been in central London until now but I am hoping to get more local work to avoid te commuting, please feel free to call on me if you feel I could be helpful.

Thanks for the great forum by the way!

Kim has recently finished a tiling job for me and has done a fantastic job. Responds to inquiries in a timely manner and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend him. He is also fitting our kitchen, doing skirting etc, so very handy.

Happy to send photo's of his handy-work if anybody needs a reference.

Hi,

I just wanted to recommend Kim's services. He recently undertook a complete refurb of my Victorian terrace - new kitchen, new bathroom, knocking an internal wall down, redecorating, lots of plumbing, and some electrics. Kim was great to work with - very friendly and flexible. He was competitively priced and happy to accommodate requests and changes of plan! If you would like to know more about the work or see pictures etc. then feel free to PM me.

Cheers,

David

Highly recommend Kim - despite delays with builders, he was amazingly accommodating and worked around them. Kim also did some extra bits which the builders had left unfinished in bathroom. We are really pleased with finish and super nice guy too. Highly recommend K

Kim built an en-suite shower room from scratch for us. He was very friendly, easy to deal with and supportive in ensuring we have the right equipment.

Worked very tidy, overall very good quality, we are very happy with the completed work and would definitely recommend him. He didn't charge any extra even though job took a bit longer than anticipated.

Highly recommend Kim Michelet! 07838102782

Kim did a full bathroom refurb for us earlier this month and I'm thrilled with the results. We live in a flat with only one small bathroom and Kim made sure it was completed in the agreed time and was very tidy.

Kim has a great eye for detail and design and I really appreciated his advice along the way.

Another recommendation for Kim. He built a wet room / toilet/ utility room in an old disused toilet dead space in our house. He is very talented and his tiling is amazing. Very nice to have around and tidied up each day. Very happy with the results 👍07838102782

We also highly recommend Kim - he recently did two bathrooms for us, including tiling, plumbing, building some boxing and painting. Really competitively priced and reliable - did everything for the price he quoted despite some changes along the way, and within the time frame he said. Really happy with the service and would definitely use him again for any other projects.

    • This week's edition of The Briefing Room I found really useful and impressively informative on the training aspect.  David Aaronovitch has come a long way since his University Challenge day. 😉  It's available to hear online or download as mp3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002n7wv In a few days time resident doctors -who used to be known as junior doctors - were meant to be going on strike. This would be the 14th strike by the doctors’ union since March 2023. The ostensible reason was pay but now the dispute may be over without more increases to salary levels. The Government has instead made an offer to do something about the other big issue for early career doctors - working conditions and specialist training places. David Aaronovitch and guests discuss what's going on and ask what the problem is with the way we in Britain train our doctors? Guests: Hugh Pym, BBC Health Editor Sir Andrew Goddard, Consultant Gastroenterologist Professor Martin McKee, Professor of European Public Health, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Mark Dayan, Policy Analyst, Nuffield Trust. Presenter: David Aaronovitch Producers: Caroline Bayley, Kirsteen Knight, Cordelia Hemming Production Co-ordinator: Maria Ogundele Sound Engineers: Michael Regaard, Gareth Jones Editor: Richard Vadon
    • That was one that the BBC seem to have lost track of.  But they do still have quite a few. These are some in their 60s archive. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0028zp6
