Dance hall in newcross

Does anyone remember the Harp Club in New Cross, I used to go there in 1968 but cannot find any information on the Internet. I would like to know why there is no history of this ballroom. Jim

Thank you Siduhu very informative, but I should have asked if anyone remembers when it was called the Harp Club before it became the Venue it was an Irish dance hall and I know many Nures From Greenwich and the Miller hospitals would go there .thanks

I danced a lot there. Well sort of dancing.

From the black bag skip in the parking lot

It's a short bad trip to the candy shop

Where the shrimps sell smack to the jelly snakes

And the kids buy crack in their morning break
