Good builders wanted

Recommended Posts

Hi - we are struggling to get builders to quote for our project which involves underfloor heating, kitchen fitting, plasterboarding and skimming, moving a doorway, building a wall, and reversing a couple of doors.

I have gone to 6 recommended builders on here of which 2 came around to quote and 1 has quoted. We?re keen to find someone ASAP.

Any recommendations for reliable builders who take on this type of work would be appreciated, thank you.

Hello again everyone. We got quite far down the road with a builder from here (2 visits and a quote) but he?s stopped replying now so it looks as if we?re back to scratch again. I?m quite at my wits end :(

We have a really good detailed works list and are looking for a reliable builder with good references.

Hi there

If you would like us to visit and provide a quote and schedule of works for your project please get in touch with me directly

Outstanding eye for detail and finish with competitive pricing.

Kind regards

Charles

    • I hope she has a really enjoyable time  There is such a vast choice of things to see from Dulwich College, beautiful architecture, the cottage in Dulwich Village where Dickens lived, I think, Greenwich Park and Observatory, to the top of Honor Oak Park over looking London and a couple of other tall hills in SE23.  So much to see and do in central London, the list is endless.
    • She will have a good time because you already show you care about her having a good time.  Loads of free things to do - as a couple they will probably want to get round on their own but you can supply some additional ideas - free London guided walks, all the museums in South Ken, street entertainments eg in Covent Garden, hotel Christmas lobbies decorated with trees, Borough market, walk along the South Bank, the markets Portobello, Camden, Spitalfields et al, free music concerts and lunchtime talks in many churches St Martins in the Fields for example,  and art galleries and the list goes on... Bloomberg Connect is a good app for museums, check out the Londonist, the Nudge, all the blogs on tips for London
    • Oh no she won't. Starmer and co have done far more damage than the Conservatives ever did.  When they  were voted out of office inflation was 2% and unemployment was stable, compared to inflation rising monthly and about to top 4%, unemployment also rising month on month, more businesses closing than ever before due to Reeves employer NI hike. Reeves is happy spending money she doesn't have and is going to be asking the IMF for a bail out. A blackhole Reeves has doubled since being Chancellor. If anyone thinks things are going well, they're wearing blinkers and may want to look at what is happening. You can't tax your way out of a depression.
    • The sky garden is free (just need to book) and an impressive view of London up there.. a lot of the big museums in central London are also free, if a little bit of a pain to get to from Dulwich.
