Our cat Qwerty did not return home last night, usually hangs around the Abbotswood Road Area.

He's black, the fluffier/longer side of medium hair, has a bushy tail and a tiny patch of white under his neck.

Please let us know if you've seen him, he may not have had a collar on.

*** Update: He came home this morning. Had us so worried!

Qwerty usually plays with my cat Tilly (the long tortoise shell) and they're always around about DJ's place. I'll keep my eyes peeled and see if I can find him this evening on my way home. I have some treats that I've used to shake and find Tilly. I'll give them a shake this evening too to see if Qwerty comes running. They're never that far apart so will definitely keep my eyes peeled for you.

    • What's in this deal for East Dulwich then?
    • Thanks all - really helpful - I'd mooted putting a hole in the new shed floor with my partner, but not sure yet if that will work.  See picture of nest now that shed has gone (well disguised..).  Might have to do the watering method much as I'd like to keep them
    • You could try leaving a gap  in the new shed floor until the bees leave their nest  at the end of the summer (assuming that's what they do? Mine seemed to)  No idea if that's feasible!
    • This from a bumble bee expert I know:  …try not to disturb it if possible. If it's actually underground, rather than directly under the old shed floor, they might survive as long as they can still get access. But if they were directly under the floor they're probably doomed, sadly. He also says they're most likely to be Bombus terrestris which is extremely common.
