Where did my thread go?

I am new to this site and started a thread last night asking if there were any fellow gay parents in the area. I notice it's not there any more - why is this?

If you look near the top of your screen you should see a little blue message saying 'private message' click it to go to the messaging (we call them PMs) area; you have a couple of them as it goes as I also welcomed you to the area and answered one of your queries.
