I am looking for a caterer for my 40th birthday. 40 guests, our home is in central ED. I am looking for either fairly substantial canapes or someone who would bbq (we have a good BBQ area) and prepare some side salads. Keen to keep it simple but really good. Open to suggestions on what you might be able to offer. Should be a nice crowd to serve, and if possible would like to find someone local hence with message.

  Whilst clearly 'a crime', I don't think this necessarily sits with the other things you have described. A tragic and awful incident certainly, and dreadfully traumatic to the victim, but not part of any 'crime wave' as such, I suspect. It's the sort of thing which, sadly, can happen anywhere (I, again, suspect).

  Does anybody have a folding pasting table they no longer need? All the ones I've found online seem to have terrible reviews, mainly due to being unstable, or else coming apart! I don't mind if it's grubby, I just want it to gesso wallpaper lining paper, for art not walls!

  Massive thank you to Stephen. Painted our whole house - and got lots of other bits sorted, too. Nothing was too much trouble, everything looks great and all came in on quote. Fantastic. Liverpool fan, but don’t hold that against him. Will 100% use again.

  We worked with Eliot recently to get two sets of shelves built. He was excellent! Really high quality craftsmanship, communicative and lovely - I’d recommend Langley Carpentry in a heartbeat.
