Are you sure this was 'official' and not vandalism? As described, unless you saw council or council instructed workpeople doing this it sounds simply destructive. Some relatively newly planted street trees around us were attacked a few years ago by selfish idiots. -

Dear neighbours and customers, The notes displayed on the front door of Maria’s Tortilla restaurant do not reflect reality. I’m dealing with a rogue landlord who has unlawfully instructed bailiffs entry and taken control of the premises. Im not backing down and with help from my lawyer, I’m trying to open the restaurant as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding, your support is greatly appreciated. I’ll be back! Highly recommend Elliot (Langley Carpentry)! He recently built 2x alcove bedroom wardrobes and 2x alcove living room cupboards/shelves, and we are so happy with them. We did a lot research beforehand to find the right person, and are so glad we chose to work with Elliot. Highly skilled, professional and communicative.
