Adult beginner swimming lessons

For a variety of reasons, none of which make for a good excuse, I have reached the ripe old age of 34 without ever learning to swim.

I was wondering if anybody could recommend a beginners? swimming course/swimming trainer in the area, please? I?m reasonably fit and box about twice a week, so apart from my ineptitude, I should be a fairly easy subject to teach, or do I hope.
