Now Free IKEA Manstad Sofa

Would like to see this go to a good home. Getting rid of it for redecorating. We used it as a bed for company and play area for LO. Lots of Ikea hacks online. Has a small tear in the chaise but can be covered with pillows/blankets/slip covers. The pull out bed portion needs a new bracket which Ikea sells. The storage capacity under the chaise is great for toys/blankets/pillows.

IKEA no longer makes these, but these were the original concept and I think perhaps the sturdiest version of this line.

Comes from a smoke/pet free house and has the original pillows/covers. You will need a small van and two people to get it down from a 1st floor flat. Disassembles/assembles easily. Collection only from LL in ED.

Great for a spare room, lounge, kids, or for a small studio. It is great to use as is & functional as sofa/occasional bed or if you want a little project.

    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.
    • Sorry if I’m being slow but there’s no point in having a gate then is there?  Would have thought it was basic manners to respect someone’s property
    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
