fake recommendations??

I have not been on this forum for a bit but came recently as I needed a few recommendations.

Strangely some of the threads are based on multiple accounts who jointly, only seem to just recommend one person for months and not have any other activity. Are those real or face accounts? how can you tell? :(

It's wise to assume that anyone who only posts to recommend someone else is fake. I also don't take into account anyone without a decent posting history.

I also always search the trader's phone number (on this forum and on google) as well as any other details I can find by searching. There are several dodgy people on this forum who have reappeared under different names a year later.
