Found Tabby/Tortoiseshell cat in East Dulwich

Hi,

This cat has appeared in the Bawdale Road neighbourhood in the last few weeks. He/she is very hungry and very vocal and has been coming in through the cat flap and stealing my cat's food. Seems lost and nervous...

Does anyone recognise him/her?

Thanks for your message - it's much appreciated. I will put up a few notices in the area, to see if anyone claims him/her. If that doesn't work, then, yes, I'd like to check if the cat is microchipped. As the cat is a little nervous, I'd really appreciate your help.

Do you work on your own or are you a volunteer at one of the local rescue centres? I was wondering about calling Celia Hammond as well, as they seem to be much mentioned on this forum.

I think this cat is local. Its been visiting me on and off since I moved to se22 in November (Hindmans Rd) but my cats don't get on with him/her. He certainly is vocal. Hope he's microchipped.

Goodness. Hindmans Rd is a few streets away, so perhaps he made his way down Whateley Road and got lost, perhaps? When he was in your area, did you get the sense that he was a stray, ie. was he always desperate for food/shelter?
