Handyman/carpenter needed urgently!

Recommended Posts

Hey Forumers,

I was hoping I could get someone to help in the next day or so to do the following:

1. I tried to be a hero and move my Ikea wardbrobe frames into another room and realised that 1 of them does not fit out the doorway (too big by about 3 inches) so I will need this moved out of a room (part dismantled)

2. Where the wardrobes are supposed to go in the other room there is a radiator so I would like the radiator to be taken off but not cancelled completely as I may want to put it back so space for the remaining pipes would need to be cut into the back of wardrobe so it fits against the wall (limited space) I will get my plumber to remove the radiator!

3. I have ordered sliding doors and a track that I would like to enclosed the wardrobe shells with, I believe this is going to need a simple frame (happy to paint myself) I have full spec of the doors that are due next week.

I hope someone can help sharpish as I need the room empty by Thursday.

Thank you

Charlene

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
    • Let’s not all get scared of the foxes now. Most likely explanation is protecting its den or association with food. We have foxes, and cats and they are no bother to each other. The fox will leave when the cats are out.
