Gardener wanted - for regular work and reviving a hedge

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a gardener to do regular front garden work outside of a block of flats.

In particular, there's a hedge that needs to be brought back to life.

If you're interested, please PM me with:

- what's wrong with the hedge (photo attached) and what you'd recommend doing to revive it

- which mornings next week (week beginning 12th March) you could visit (between 8:00 and 8:30)

We're in East Dulwich, close to North Cross Rd.

Thanks,

James

This looks like a photinia ( red robin) it is being eaten by something which needs a spray. As I don?t use the very toxic sprays anymore, I would suggest a soapy spray & a good feed at this time of year. Happy to offer a free visit for a better diagnosis & discuss the work you want doing. I have been on the forum for around 15 years.

    • Purse with cash and cards (including photo card) found in road local to East Dulwich Tabernacle. It will be here (107 Barry Road) all day (Sunday 21 December) if you want to collect or PM me.  In case some one else who knows R Howard, please alert her.    Thank you
    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
