Mother's Day Giveaway for 6-week mum and baby wellbeing movement group in Forest Hill

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Firm Footing Movement has been running regular mum and baby wellbeing groups at Studio One Pilates and Movement just down the road in Forest Hill. (We also have a one-off dad and baby group coming up on Sunday 18 March, as well as a family movement group too!)

In celebration of Mothering Sunday in a few days, I'm offering one *free* spot for a mum and baby to join one of our groups on Wednesdays (aged 6 weeks - 8 months or 8 -18 months). The next set of groups runs from 14 March to 18 April.

You can enter via our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/firmfootingmovement/ or on Instagram (user name: firm_footing_movement). Entries must be received by 18:30 on Sunday 11 March. Full T&Cs are listed on Facebook/Instagram.

The groups offer some holistic time for mums to come move with baby, but also have some relaxation time for themselves too!

Here's a few participant quotes to give you a flavour of what to expect

"[the group] would have been really beneficial for me in the first few months [of being a mum] because it is a very supportive, nourishing space."

"It offered something different and less overwhelming. I'd got so used to baby groups over-stimulating me and baby that it was nice to adjust back to a more human pace!"

"I felt very relaxed after class, as did my baby, which was a lovely surprise"

Hope to see you there!

    • I would leave London, or at a push move back to north London. In SE London if you want to get away in a car you are trapped, always an hour to go the first 10 miles, chugging up to the M4 or round the south circular, which is really just a line someone drew connecting a load of roads. and I know there are trains but first you have to get to those mainline stations, unless you only want to leave London to go to Kent. which I don't.
    • It was you who  made it personal in the first place,  Jazzer. You said you didn't feel safe in the streets,  and you said you didn't go to Central London because you didn't feel safe there. So are you now saying that wasn't "personal"? "Fire from the hip." Another interesting choice of words 🙄 I'm not "demanding" anything! I asked you some perfectly reasonable questions in  response to your own statements. None of which you have answered. Never mind. It seems to be pointless having a discussion with you. It's long past my bedtime. I'm going to turn on my sleep app  and go to sleep 😴💤
    • Hi Forumites, This afternoon someone in a dark blue/black saloon car collided with my parked car on Thompson Road, SE22 9JR. I have a neighbour’s doorbell cam footage of the collision at 14:30 19/09/2025 but am unable to identify the registration plate. If anyone has footage of a car travelling down Thompson Road towards Crystal Palace Road at that time please PM me. Of course if the Perp would like to confess they can also PM me. Thankyou.
